Turmeric is a traditional spice used in Island and East Indian dishes. Its flavor is very similar to curry, as turmeric is one of the main ingredients used to create the popular spice and it is also a member of the ginger family. To clear blemishes use about a table spoon of turmeric, lemon juice and coconut oil. Mix together and spread it on those badges of honor. Once it dries take a shower rinse and repeat daily until those puppies start to fade.

Get some Greek yogurt about a table spoon and a teaspoon of turmeric and blend them together. For a boost add a few drops of peppermint oil to the mix. Apply to affected area and keep mask on for 15 minutes. Then rinse and enjoy that clean cool feeling.
